Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day two hundred and fifty-seven of that project.

This quilt block shows an austere building against a light blue salmon-patterned background. The building is white and tall with a very triangular black roof. There are two dark grey second story windows outlined with white stitching. The door is an even darker shade of gray. The building and roof itself are outlined in gray stitching. Above the two second-story windows is writing that says, "Granby Dental" and above the writing is a logo. It shows a stylized mountain range with the left line coming down to form a tooth brush.

We have a new dental office in our town!

It’s a really nice complex with a new bagel shop. It replaces a very old brick building where I saw Dr. Warren to have my baby teeth pulled.

For 65 years dentists have been taking care of teeth in that little brick building.

It’s a new era for our town and goes along with many other changes in our community.
