Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day two hundred and seventy-eight of that project.

This quilt block shows a square building with a sign on it and a wooden stairway up to a door. The building is white with black outlines showing the door and the windows. I have known three owners of the Kopy Kat. I liked all of them.

The current owners are amiable and helpful. We just run down the street if we need something copied that we can’t do.

They can print some huge stuff down there, like blueprints and banners. The same with shipping. They are our go-to for UPS and FedEx.

I always smile when I go in there because Joseph, the owner, has humorous signs posted behind the checkout counter.

This is a funky little building built about the same time as the Fabric Nook building on the same size lot. I believe they have the adjacent lot, so it looks a little wider than this one.

The building is white and tall with a very triangular black roof. There are two dark grey second story windows outlined with white stitching. The door is an even darker shade of gray. The building and roof itself are outlined in gray stitching. Above the two second-story windows is writing that says, Block-A-Day 257 – The New Dental Office This quilt block shows a large just about square building. The main building material is a single large duotone polka dotted fabric (the dots being scattered and random). There are many smaller square windows outlined with an orange fabric, while inside they are a solid brown. They're each outlined by stitching. There is a light fixture above the middle door drawn in pen. The door is in the middle and is also outlined in an orange fabric. There are two signs, each detailed and colorful. On the left is a blue, black, and white sign with mountains on it and thew words, Block-A-Day 282 – New-2-U And Never Summer Brewing
