When you have a pig roast at your house you can ice the pig in it before you roast it and then wash it out well and fill it with ice, soda, water, and beer. A smaller tank will hold ice and a keg.
On the farm, we compost all our animal waste. We use deep wood chip bedding and with the animals turning it all the time it composts right under their feet and wonderful compost is made.
I thought what could be more appropriate than a big harvest basket. So Imagine this basket full of all your favorite fresh veggies.
Perhaps they are discussing all the people they know. I have just read that chickens have amazing memories and can remember 100 faces!
It is so much fun to see the baby calves in the spring because they’re so cute. They look like little teddy bears bouncing around the field.
Insurance is a very contentious subject locally in my town. With the fire last year our county has had so much loss of home and property that you can imagine we have had so many claims.
Upstairs was a 3.2 beer joint called The Upstairs. The bowling alley closed in the late seventies. Sonny and Ruthie Samuelson were the owners. After that Cindy Samuelson opened a feed store there and I bought feed for many years from her.
They can print some really big stuff down there, like blueprints and banners. The same with shipping. They are our go-to for UPS and FedEx. I always smile when I go in there because Joseph, the owner, has humorous signs posted behind the checkout counter.
I hope if someone needs something beyond their scope they refer that vacationer to Granby businesses. The General Store is just one of the amenities out there, along with a mini-bowling alley, arcade, workout area, and community center.
