Summer Is Here

I’m trying to ignore the snow and think “Woo Hoo, summer is here!” That means lighter brighter colors, flowers, and time outside. We have some fun ideas and fabrics for those rainy afternoons when your sewing machine is calling you.

Our big news is the facelift for our store. Over the next couple of weeks, we will hopefully finish up our plan. We are very excited.

For those of you who use Precision Piecing Easy Press pen or spray I can refill your bottles for half the price of a new container. My hope is that it will make this a more affordable tool for you to use. I love this product and in my experience, so does anyone who uses it.

OLISO irons: if any of you have had a problem with your Oliso iron not heating up correctly contact me. I had this happen with the model I am using in the shop. I contacted Oliso and they gave me instructions for resetting the iron. Worked like a charm.

These napkins and apron are on sale. The apron is $11.99 and the napkins are 4 for $5.00. Lightweight and spring colors.

JUNE and JULY Class Schedule

JUNE

On Wednesday, June 1st at 1:30 PM – UFO [UnFinished Objects]. This is a great time to bring in any UnFinished Projects and complete them.

On Tuesday, June 7th at 5:30 PM and Wednesday, June 8th at 1:30 PM we’ll be making a Red, White, and Blue Pincushion. This little cutie is approximately 6” across. You will need your sewing machine and basic tools. Cost is $20.00 and includes all materials to finish your project.

On Tuesday, June 14th at 5:30 PM and Wednesday, June 15th at 1:30 PM – UFO [UnFinished Objects]. This is a great time to bring in any UnFinished Projects and complete them.

On Friday, June 17th at 5:30 PM and Saturday, June 18th at 1:30 PM we’ll be continuing the Fabulous BOM [Block-Of-The-Month]. (Class is full)

On Tuesday, June 21st at 5:30 PM and Wednesday, June 22nd at 1:30 PM – we’ll be making an “America” Bench Pillow. This is an easy cute pillow that will look great for the 4th. Everything you need but the pillow insert. Sewing machine required along with basic tools. Cost $35 and includes everything you need to complete.

On Tuesday, June 28th at 5:30 PM and Wednesday, June 29th at 1:30 PM we’ll also continue a Bundle Up BOM [Block-Of-The-Month]. (Class is full)

JULY

On Tuesday, July 5th at 5:30 PM and Wednesday, July 6th at 1:30 PM we’ll be making the Patchwork Drawstring Bag. This bag is adorable and easy, Bring your sewing machine and basic tools. Cost is $25 and includes all materials and pattern.

On Tuesday, July 12th at 5:30 PM and Wednesday, July 13th at 1:30 PM – UFO [UnFinished Objects]. This is a great time to bring in any UnFinished Projects and complete them.

On Tuesday, July 19th at 5:30 PM and Wednesday, July 20th at 1:30 PM we’ll be making the Kite Bench Pillow. This is a good bench pillow or runner for summer. Goes together fast. All precut and all materials included. Cost is $30.

On Friday, July 22nd at 5:30 PM and Saturday, July 23rd at 1:30 PM we’ll be continuing the Fabulous BOM [Block-Of-The-Month]. (Class is full)

On Tuesday, July 26th at 5:30 PM and Wednesday, July 27th at 1:30 PM we’ll also continue a Bundle Up BOM [Block-Of-The-Month]. (Class is full) This quilt should be winding up but we’re continuing class to help everyone finish up.
