Block-A-Day 133 – The Family Van
Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day one hundred and thirty-three of that project.

The super useful vehicle is the family van.
My son and his family have a van. They can put so much in that van besides four car seats. I honestly can’t imagine them driving anything else.
When they would go back and forth from California, they would even put a small freezer clear in the back to carry meat back. They would plug it in when they would stop overnight.
While they were in California and going cross country, they’d carry a potty chair in the back for emergencies.
Farmhand #2 decided he was done with diapers at age two, just before they left for Colorado on one trip. Farmhand #1 figured out real quick that if #2 needed to go potty, Mom and Dad would pull over, and everyone could get out.
So when he wanted a break, #1 would ask his brother, “Do you need to go potty? I bet you need to go potty.” Power of suggestion.
It’s been a good car.
