This quilt block shows a camper from the side view on a light blue background. The camper is a pale green with a dark green door on the right back side (behind the wheel). The window to the left is a light yellow. The camper is pill shaped a bit, with a rounded roof. There is a single wheel with a light two-holed small button in the middle of the dark circle indicating the axle.

Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day one hundred and thirty-two of that project.

So that is what Jenny is towing! Just right for her.

She has it decked out so cute on the inside. Fun curtains and cushions to match. Even the comforter on the bed matches.

She has everything she needs right here. She even has her sewing machine secured in a cabinet. An avid quilter, she knew she had to figure out how to make that work for her.

She’s working on blocks of each place she visits. Her blocks fit in a 12” box.

A couple of years ago, there was a little camper that looked a lot like this one but older and silver parked at a house down the street from me.

I looked at it on my way to work every day. I fantasized about making it into a playhouse for me. I couldn’t have gone anywhere, but I thought it would be fun for the grandchildren and me.

Fortunately, it sold, and I could stop thinking about it.
