Block-A-Day 160 – The Baggage Truck
Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day one hundred and sixty of that project.

I love to watch the baggage trucks at the airport.
If you sit in the rear of Southwest planes, you can often watch your luggage go into the belly of the aircraft. When Farmhand 1 was very little, he flew to and from Burbank, CA.
They always took the same flight. He liked to watch and wave at the baggage handlers. They were always so nice and waved to him. I imagine how hot it is out there in the summer and cold in the winter.
Once when Scott and I went to Cozumel, my luggage was lost for three days. You wouldn’t think you’d need that much at a beach, but I didn’t have what I wanted or needed.
It finally showed up, but I was in a twist.
That happened long before the fire last year. After the fire, I thought of the people who had lost everything and realized they would not have what they needed.
Of course, their loss was a million times worse.
No one would be bringing them their luggage, and I cried for them.
