Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day two hundred and seventy of that project.

This quilt block shows a building with a bumpy roofline. Underneath the wavey roofline is actual waves made out of blue fabric. The building itself is completely black, except for the windows, sign, and door. The sign under the blue waves is turquoise with blue letters written in pen, "POOL." Underneath the sign is a blue door in the center, and two turquoise windows (with some pen shading) on either side. The black building is square, and is surrounded by a background of blue salmon-patterned fabric.

River Run has a very nice pool.

There is a hot tub and wide concrete apron with tables and chairs.

I love being in the water, BUT I am such a baby about cold water. I hate cold water.

My husband learned to swim in Lake Granby where the water is just above freezing, but not this girl. I adore beach vacations and I want to be in the water all the time because it feels like a big bathtub.

I think the visitors to River Run enjoy the setup there, I am always amazed at little kids and water. Doesn’t matter what temperature they will have a ball.
