Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day two hundred and thirty-nine of that project.

This quilt block shows a square building with a tall broad roof in the shape of a trapezoid (we're looking at it from the front). On the orange roof is a flower design, with a two-holed start button on a yellow piece of fabric. Underneath the burnt orange roof are the stylized words, "Kathy's Krafts" naming the store. The door is on the left side and is a dark gray, really black. Next to the black door is a window that's a lighter yellow against the light orange of the building. In the window is draped a party decoration and underneath that is says, "Card Stock Sale, Open"

Kathy’s Krafts is so amazing! It has everything!

It’s like a Willie Wonka’s of crafts. Bright, colorful and organized. You want to look everywhere at once.

There is a crafting area in the back where something is always being created. It’s everyone who crafts’ happy place.

This square was made with my dear friend Kathy in mind. She had the most amazing craft room you could imagine. Designed just for her with places for all her various crafts.

My grandsons would go up and help her haul boxes up and down the stairs to her amazing room.

Kathy lost her house in the Troublesome fire last year. It’s been really hard on her.

Now Kathy’s Krafts will remind me forever of her.
