Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day three hundred and sixty-three of that project.

This quilt block shows a tall green grain silo next to a round barn like building that's orange. The entrance to the orange building is a large black archway, and there's a black window above it. There is a dark orange, same colors s the building, ring around the top of the grain silo on the left. Pieces are stitched with a black thread.

I love this grain storage building.

It’s made of concrete and then painted in very creative colors. It looks a little space age to me.

I would be so excited if I were driving along the highway sometime and looked over and saw this in a field. I’m putting it in Olsson’s field.

With a family as large as theirs I’m sure someone creative made this. I imagine it on the edge of a field of sunflowers bordering corn.

Wouldn’t that be pretty?
