Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day two hundred and eighty-five of that project.

This quilt block shows a dark brown and maroon bench with a cat sitting on it. The cat is a light tan cream color with black splotches. The bench sits on two black v-shaped stands. The slats are horizontal and outlined with stitching. This is all against a blue background.

Here is Tuna. She likes to come out in the afternoons and sit on this bench.

The sun shines on her pretty coat, and she gives herself a little bath. Of course, this little bath takes an hour.

Eventually, she will lie down on the bench and purr, roll over and stretch. You know, one of those cat routines, stretch, purr, play with a butterfly and look adorable.

After her afternoon absolutions, she heads home to her three sisters, Salmon, Twilight, and Suess. (Farmhand 3 has named our barn cats these names.)

It looks like a big barn on a farm. There are three entry doors on the bottom, all made out of deep red pieces of fabric. There are three windows, each above one entrance. In the left window you can see the black silhouette of a mouse, and in the far right window you can see the silhouette of a cat's head. The roof is the same deep red as the doors.Block-A-Day 346 – The Feed Barn
