Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day two hundred and fifty-five of that project.

This quilt block shows a square building but with an outlandish roof. The roof looks like hair sitting on someone's head with a purple bow in it. The hair is yellow itself. On the hair and the building are the words, "Salong & Day Spa Top 2 Bottom" in blue pen with white highlights/outlines. Below the yellow hair is a pink building with dark blue rounded windows on either side to eh center red door. All of the fabric pieces are outlined with a gray stitching. The door is also fairly rounded. This is all against a light blue salmon-patterned bacground.

Top 2 Bottom is a salon and day spa located across the street from my shop.

I’ve known the owner for almost her entire life. I was her 4-H leader when she was a girl.

She has set up a really cute space and performs most services. She can do your hair, nails, wax and toes.

She has a little sign in her shop that says “I’m just a small town girl.” I think that describes her very well.

Sweet woman.
