Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day twenty-three of that project.

This quilt block shows a gray metal building against a dark background. It has red double doors, and a lightbulb on the top of it. The front reads, "Shocky Electric" under a red lightning bolt.

Oh Boy!  This was a fun one! Another clever design by Susan Claire.

This is the local electrician’s shop. When I was a girl one of the electricians in our town was named Shocky.

Even though I was too young to have known him I never forgot because I thought it was such a funny name. I again used Micron pigma pens in red and black. I couldn’t resist the lightning bolt.

I hope you are enjoying seeing my posts every day, I’m sure having fun doing it!
