Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day twenty-eight of that project.

The neighborhood church can be such an essential part of an active community.

I’m sure this one has a pastor everyone loves and a devoted congregation. Think of all the weddings, baptisms, and funerals this little church has witnessed.

All of the fabrics in this quilt are Hoffman batiks. I found a fun little piece of batik to do the windows. I thought it looked like stained glass from a distance.

As you can see on this clock face, I used the micron pen, which was so much easier.
