Block-A-Day 2 – City Buildings
It is day two of my new block-a-day project. In my previous post, I outlined that I am creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. Today is day two of that project!
I wanted to show you the pattern size for That Town And Country Quilt. I was so worried I would lose a page. I punched holes in it and put it in this 2” binder.

After ordering, a heavy FedEx box arrived at the store. I was speechless upon its arrival. Considering it was a pattern, its size and weight scared me. What had I gotten myself into? However, the well-written pattern is easy to understand. If you don’t mix anything up, all should go well. So, I took a deep breath and plunged right in.

The second block is named “City Buildings.” I took that to mean City Government buildings. I used muted colors and stitched it in a muted variegated thread. I intended the details to blend in because it is night in That Town. I hope my free-motion stitching will improve as I go along.
See you tomorrow,
Tina
