Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day one hundred and fifty-eight of that project.

This quilt block shows a yellow airport shuttle against a lighter blue salmon-patterned background fabric. The shuttle is rectangular shaped with a slightly outward curved front (on the left). The windows and windshield are a lighter yellow fabric. On the side, in pen, are the words,

An airport shuttle is such a convenience.

I have taken our local shuttle service, Home James, to the airport in Denver many times.

Stress-free and comfortable. This shuttle takes people to a resort area about 50 miles from That Town.

When I have ridden, I have heard some history of the area, and the driver has pointed out landmarks along the way. For me, it’s always a good nap!

When I took the shuttle from the airport up the mountain, I talked to some very interesting people. Once I was sitting next to a young woman from the east coast inner city that had come to work at the YMCA here in the mountains.

She was astounded at the open spaces here.

There are two dark circles indicating wheels underneath with small off-white two-holed buttons in the centers indicating the axle.Block-A-Day 136 – Andy’s Vacation This quilt block shows a funny shaped building against a blue salmon-patterned background. The building itself is in a sort of trapezoid shape and is light yellow. The roof is actually a painter's palette, the base color being brown. On the palette are blobs of other color, including red, black, yellow, blue and green shown by accompanying fabrics. Below the giant painter's palette are the words in cursive, "Neville Gallery" written in brown on the yellow building.
