Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day one hundred and fifty-six of that project.

This quilt block shows a patch of grass in the bottom right that's a bit of a yellowy green tint of fabric. On the patch of corner fabric are straight stitched lines representing stalks of flowers. The flower buds are little yellow heart shaped two-holed buttons. This is all against a light blue salmon-patterned backgorund.

Yellow Shirley Hearts, aren’t they beautiful?

Even the buds are heart-shaped. What a fun flower.

This is another corner quilt block. Against a gray background is a patch of grass in the bottom right, lighter than some of the other blocks before. Each flower ends in a square or triangle-shaped button of varying colors (yellow, blue, gray). These buttons are very small.Block-A-Day 211 – Marge Seedpod Is At It Again! This quilt block shows a jagged piece of green fabric at the bottom to indicate grass. Above that strip of grass is a pretty detailed wheelbarrow constructed out of very dark brown fabric with a yellow stitching outline. The top rim and inside of the wheelbarrow is a gray fabric. Inside the wheelbarrow, which we are seeing from the side, is dirt, brown fabric marked with pen, and a flower pot. Inside the flower pot are pen lines going up into buttons. The flower bulbs are tiny two-hole buttons of various colors.Block-A-Day 208 – The Wheelbarrow
