Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day one hundred and forty-nine of that project.

Julie’s Baby is the name of our little train.

All the locals call it simply Julie’s. Almost everyone can at least glimpse Julie’s traveling every day. Her train is impeccably cared for.

Every day, between runs, all but the freight car is washed and polished.

Julie is very proud of her little train and is often seen working alongside her employee, Fred rubbing the engine to a sheen.

This engine is one that belonged to her father. He bought it and restored it to its original beauty.

Every time Julie rubs wax into the engine, it’s like saying I love you to her Dad.
