The heart shape is apparently very difficult to convince flowers to grow into. It’s an incredible achievement for her to be able to introduce Shirley Hearts this year.

It’s furnished with comfortable couches, pristine bathrooms, and current magazines. Volunteers are on hand until the last train comes in and when the first train pulls out. They serve homemade cookies and have fresh coffee, tea, water and juice.

Julie is very proud of her little train and is often seen working alongside her employee, Fred rubbing the engine to a sheen. This engine is one that actually belonged to her father. He bought it and restored it to its original beauty.
