Block-A-Day 147 – The Vista
Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day one hundred and forty-seven of that project.

“The Vista” is the passenger car in our little train.
If Susie wants to visit grandma in the next county over, Mom puts her on the train in That Town, and Grandma is waiting for her at the other end.
People from the closest city can take the train into That Town. The citizens of That Town can take the train into the city in the morning and come home in the evening having accomplished all their errands.
If you were to get on the train and stay for the entire route, it would take 6 hours. The route runs twice a day.
It’s a cushy ride in The Vista: beautiful padded seats and big windows to watch everything pass by.
Box lunches are available for each meal if you wish.
Everything on the little train is designed for a warm, comfortable experience.
Julie goes to sleep every night, knowing she has made a lot of people happy that day.
