Block-A-Day 141 – Ranch Creek Waste
Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day one hundred and forty-one of that project.

Waste management is a necessity of life.
I chose this local company’s logo because I liked it.
My little granddaughter got a trash truck for Christmas when she was two. She loves it and, at five, still plays with it.
I found out her mother was fascinated with trash trucks when she was a little girl and would get up before dawn on trash pick-up days to watch the trucks.
Three trucks would pick up when they lived in Burbank, California. One for trash, one for recycling, and one for “green” waste for composting. One day a week, Little Farmgirl could watch trucks all day.
We take our own recycling once a week, and we have a transfer station for trash. Being on the farm, we do our own composting.
This is a dull narrative today, but I think the truck is cute.
