Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day one hundred and twenty-one of that project.

This quilt block shows a corner block, with a patch of bright green grass in the lower right corner. On the patch of grass is a light tan sign post with two signs sticking out in opposite directions. The signs are planks with pointed ends and read,

This is a very important sign. When you need a hospital, you want as much signage as possible, and you want to be warned if you are entering a school zone.

This is the last block of round five.

Tomorrow I will start a new background color and subjects.

It’s exciting to me every time I start a new round.

So today, there are two pictures for you!

This shows the quilt as it's constructed so far. There are five rounds and a center square featuring a star. As each square round progresses outward the background gets lighter, as if the sun is rising.
