Block-A-Day 5 – Town Square
Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. Today is day five of that project, and features another corner block.

Every other block is a corner in the first round, so I think of this first round as the town square. These dark buildings show nothing of the secrets within.
The domed-shaped tops are made of glass, and light streams in when the sun shines on them, giving life to a top-floor atrium. I think an insurance company or a suite of attorney offices are here. Maybe a Private Detective has his business in the brown building.
This little corner plot of grass has a rather primitive park bench embroidered on it. A businessman or woman has lunch here, or a grandfather and his grandchild sit here and feed popcorn to the inevitable pigeons.
I think I wouldn’t mind sitting there in the sun with a sweater on myself.
