Block-A-Day 122 – The Baby Car
Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day one hundred and twenty-two of that project.

Here is my fantasy about this little red car: I am driving down the coastal highway in California.
I am wearing my cute sunglasses with little pink flowers all over them that are rose-tinted. I am wearing a scarf, Audrey Hepburn style, and bright lipstick. Happy music is playing on the radio, and the weather is perfect.
Here is the reality: I am not a good enough driver to drive a sports car, and I fall asleep.
So in the interest of public safety, I’ll keep the fantasy in my head. When my husband and I were dating, he owned a red MG convertible. We called it the baby car.
It was a sweet little number. I drove it once, and it scared me to pieces.
Before we got married, he sold the baby car, and we bought a car with a back seat because I had a two-year-old that needed a car seat, and he loved us.
