Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day two hundred and eighty-eight of that project.

All towns need an insurance agency.

This office has insurance carriers to handle farm, commercial and residential. That is important because That Town is very diverse.

Insurance is a very contentious subject locally in my town. With the fire last year, our county has lost so many homes and property that you can imagine we have had many claims.

Some claims have gone better than others; sadly, many are still unsettled.

Insurance costs have generally increased as well, affecting us all.

I’m sure it’s hard to be an insurance agent.

Above the roof is a sign with lights around it (indicated by marks of pen) that says, "Motel" The roof is in a trapezoid shape and is a deep brown fabric. Underneath the roof on the yellow building are the words, "Notell Motel". Above the door it reads, "Office" and above the light tan window it reads, "No Vacancy".
