Block-A-Day 94 – Family Picnic In The Park
Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day ninety-four of that project.

We’re heading into a park/playground area.
The first stop is to get everyone fueled up with a picnic lunch. It is fun when a few moms and kids have an outing together. Kids love a picnic lunch, and most of the time, moms do too.
They would definitely like it in my park because there are no ants and mosquitos! Another thing that makes it easy is a big bag of wet wipes.
So now what’s in the picnic basket?
Fresh fruit, of course, is a must; my favorite is cubed watermelon.
We always had warm German potato salad—no need to keep this one cool. If you aren’t familiar with it, it’s a sweet/sour bacon-y version of potato salad.
Then some deli meat sandwiches, cookies, and lemonade.
I’m hungry for summer now!
