Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day three hundred and fifty-three of that project.

This quilt block shows a green shed with an open front opening. It's very wide and covers the whole lower part of the block. Inside the shed is equipment drawn with colored pens. There's a side-by-side, a tractor, a manure spreader, and a bale wagon. The manure spreader is a blue-green, the bale wagon is yellow, and the others are red.

Here is the equipment shed.

It’s beneficial to have an equipment shelter. Before we had one, we had to tie tarps on all of our equipment through the winter.

In this shed, we have a side-by-side, tractor, manure spreader, and bale wagon. I don’t know where the baler is, but I’m sure it’s there somewhere.

Scott used to clean and grease all the stuff before it went into the shed.

Equipment is hard to come by, so taking care of it is essential.

This quilt block shows a patch of weeds and grass with flowers both red and yellow in the lower right. This is made with a jagged cut of green fabric and quite a bit of multicoloreed stitching for the stalks and flwoers. To the left is a hand mower. This is a lawn mower you would push my hand. When you push it the wheel turns the blades inside the barrel of the machine's end that it cuts the grass. The handle and wheels of the mower are black with a yellow stitched outline. This is all against a light blue background.Block-A-Day 308 – The Farrowing Shed This quilt block is a corner block, meaning that it's oriented to one corner as the "bottom" of the block. This one is in the bottom right corner. There is a patch of dark green grass (fabric) in the bottom right, and standing on it is a pretty good sized fox. The fox is made up of a darker orange fabric and white fabric for its underbelly and tip of the tail. There is an almost black fabric for the foxglove paws. Details on the face, such as the ears and the eye have been drawn in with pen. This fox is in mid-step as it prowls for its prey.Block-A-Day 337 – The Fox This quilt block shows a fancy dark green tractor. It has a large back wheel and a smaller front wheel. There's a black smoke stack the same color as the wheels on the side and extending above the cab. There is a large white headlight on the front of the tractor (we're viewing it from the side) and a large cab with a light yellow tinted window. The smoke stack has white pen on it to show it's sheen. There are two white buttons in the axles of the wheels, one larger than the other. To finish it off in pen there's a small step below the chassis to help you into the tractor's cabin.Block-A-Day 362 – The Fancy Tractor
