Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day thirty-four of that project.

This block shows a simple two story yellow house with three square windows, one below and two above. There is a maroon door on the left, and a brown roof with a chimney on the right.

This house is a happy house. A young couple lives here with their ever-expanding family. Paula is pregnant with her fifth child.

She has four delightful boys, ages 4, 3, 2, and 1. She has been told she is having a girl. Paula is over the moon.

Fortunately, Paula and Shawn are easy-going and have a wonderful sense of humor. In their home, someone is always laughing, and someone is always crying. Most of the time, the antics of their brood produce laughter and exhaustion.

Friendly and welcoming, Paula will greet you at the door with a little one on her hip and another sucking his thumb behind her skirt. She will invite you in for tea, and you will have a delightful visit.

Just be a little careful where you sit; it could be on a peanut butter sandwich.
