Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day one hundred and nine of that project.

This quilt block shows a gray background, with a lamp post front a center. The lamp post stands on a dark green cut of smooth grass. The lamp post is ornate and has curls on each side below the glass container that hold orange flower pots. There are little flowers in the pots indicated by single hole gold beads.

It’s the end of our day in the park.

Everyone is tired, dirty, and sticky. We’re ready to go home, bathe the kids, and collapse.

The lamps in the park are starting to come on.

These super cute lamp posts with their flower baskets are scattered throughout the park, lighting the pathways. It’s easy to see which way the exits are.

It’s been a busy day, but we all feel good, a little sunburned, and one kid is missing a shoe. Oh well, worse things have happened.

Happy family, happy day.

Each wheel has a small off-white two-hole button indicating the axle.Block-A-Day 128 – I Always Drive, Barbie This quilt block shows a dark brown and slightly reddish truck without a bed. The truck's can extends to the rear of the truck and it has two windows light orange windows besides the windshield. The headlight is also the same color. Behind the truck is a gray tow structure attached to something that's located off the quilt block to the right (the truck is facing left.) There are two dark circles indicating wheels underneath with small off-white two-holed buttons in the centers indicating the axle.Block-A-Day 136 – Andy’s Vacation
