Admittedly a crazy woman owns the Fabric Nook.  Crazy in the fact that I love to buy fabric and I love to share new fabric, way more than I have room for!  Consequently when it comes time to bring out holiday fabric (lots of holiday fabric) I have to take spring and summer and give them a vacation.  That means it has to be wrapped and go up on the high shelves.

This is quite a process and I am often sent scurrying to find a bolt of fabric that has gone on vacation to help someone finish a project.  The good news is the new Christmas fabrics are FABULOUS.  New projects from Hoffman are super different. Three different panels are large digital prints that make stunning wall hangings.  I had a great time adding hot fix crystals to a tree panel.

Also on display is a new advent calendar from a panel. Cute, cute! The pockets hold nice things to do for other people instead of treats for yourself. Henry Glass came up with that one. Of course, it’s not even Halloween yet, so we still have Halloween looking at us in the shop, but with do-it-yourselfers we have to get a head start. I know a lot of you are already sewing and crafting for Christmas.

‘Til next time!
