Here is another vital part of the road crew.

This job can be dangerous as people have been hit and killed setting cones by drivers moving too fast.

I have seen pickups going slow down the street with a guy sitting on the tailgate dropping cones in a straight line the same distance apart. Then at the end of the project, he goes in reverse picking them up and stacking them in the back of the truck.

I used to think that might be an okay job. Then I thought about it some more and realized I would have to jump up and down in and out of the truck a lot. The reason being I wouldn’t be able to reach the cones!

I have always had this delusion that I’m just as tall as everyone else. However, the reality is I’m 5’1” and can’t reach many things.

Oh well.
