Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day thirty-nine of that project.

Prudence and Primrose own this saltbox house. Both of them are in their 60’s. They have lived in this house virtually all of their lives. Neither of them has ever married, and they enjoy each other’s company so much they are happy together.

Everyone who knows them loves them, and everybody calls them Pru and Prim. Always quick with a laugh, they are very popular.

Each is an accomplished quilter!

The thing that sets them apart is they have a long arm! They quilt for so many, and it’s always a fun time to take or pick up your quilt. When Pru is quilting, Prim will chat you up, pour tea and serve warm cookies.
