Block-A-Day 297 – Barryl The Bull
Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day two hundred and ninety-seven of that project.

We raise Scottish Highlanders at Sisu Farms.
People have often described them as looking a little prehistoric because of their horns, long hair, and short legs. They originate in Scotland.
All of Sisu Farm’s cattle are grass-fed and finished. They’re a meat breed cattle, and this is one of our bulls.
His name is Barryl, and he’s very friendly.
Occasionally he wants to go and visit other cows, and he does; he just goes. So my son has to go get him and offer him a cookie so he’ll come home.
He’s the daddy of half of our herd. He’s beautiful and loves to be curry-combed.
