Block-A-Day 296 – Sisu Farms
Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day two hundred and ninety-six of that project.

I live at Sisu Farm.
My son, daughter-in-law, and four farmhands do all the work, and it’s a growing business.
Why SISU? Or what is SISU? It’s a Finnish word that doesn’t have a direct translation into English.
It means perseverance, hardiness, bravery, resilience, and grit. I think it fits what they’re doing really well.
You will learn a lot about their operation in the coming days.
