Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day sixteen of that project.

This quilt block depicts a green trees of various shades on a dark green mound in the bottom right corner. They angle from the bottom to the left.

This little corner park has a little grove of trees. I can imagine walking paths and taking a shortcut through the park.

It would have shade in the summer, and I could see people kicking off their sandals to feel the cool grass between their toes. Mothers out to shop pushing strollers stop there with snacks for their kids.

People on their lunch break can spread a blanket under themselves while they lean against a tree, eat an apple, and read a book.

All of the fabrics used in this quilt are Hoffman Batiks.
