Block-A-Day 351 – The Custom SUV
Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day three hundred and fifty-one of that project.

Jim Crosby was so excited the day he picked up his custom SUV with the ranch logo.
He had been driving the same truck for 18 years, and it looked it. It had over 300K miles on it.
The tailgate has been gone so long that nobody remembers what happened to it after the neighbor’s highlander bull got done with it. The bumper was held on with baling wire. The inside looked as though Jim had found custom-made duct tape seat covers.
He kept babying it along and saving his money. Every time he got paid for training a horse, he put half away in his “truck” fund.
When that faithful old truck finally gasped its last, Jim was ready to buy that new rig. Tomorrow you’ll see the horse trailer that goes with it.
Now he’s ready to rodeo in style with his wife, Shawna, and the kids.
Heck, the oldest is already barrel racing, and her stirrups barely reach the side of that buckskin quarter horse she rides. He is so proud of his family and his new rig he can hardly stand himself.
Best of all, his taxman said he could write it off since he uses it for his work, and heck, it’s got his name all over it.
