This quilt block features a short building with a triangular roof. The roof is a striped duotone deep blue with horizontal stripes. Below the roof is a half circle window surrounded by shingles that are brown and drawn in with a pen. Below the upper window is a sign in yello with the words "Edward Jones Investments" written in with pen. Below that is a light over the door. The door is brown but with a large glass pane inside it. On either side of the central door are blue trimmed windows. Each pane of glass is offwhite fabric with some sheen drawn in with pen to indicate it's reflective. Below the two blue windows are small blue crosses.

Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day two hundred and thirty-three of that project.

This little building is on Main Street, east of the Fabric Nook.

It’s an old building that has been remodeled and cared for. Before its current occupants, it was a flower shop that a friend of mine had.

Currently, it houses Edward Jones Investments. I had to go there this morning, and as I was leaving, I decided it would make a good addition to the quilt.

A very long time ago, it was a dry cleaner. The way things change so fast, sometimes you never know how long some of these original buildings will be around.

I think this is a cute one.
