Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day seventy-nine of that project.

This quilt block shows a building shaped like a paint bucket. The paint that is glazing over the side of the can is orange. The building or can is white, and there's a semi-circle handle over the roof. The sign above the open hole in the bucket reads, "Paint." But in what would be the bucket are letters written in on the orange background that say, "Drop In The Bucket."

How fun to have a paint store shaped like a paint can.

Drop In The Bucket paint store is a bustling concern in That Town. Mr. Wylie knows everything there is to know about paint, paint tools, and faux finishes.

He’s very helpful when you have questions or just don’t know what you are doing.

My favorite color is orange, especially this shade of orange. In fact, the front door to my store is painted this color. I’m thinking about painting my door at home orange too.

What’s your favorite color? How does it make you feel?

See you tomorrow.
