Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day sixty-one of that project.

This quilt block shows a mushroom shaped building with an orange polka-dotted top. The polka-dots are made with little light two-holed buttons. On the cap roof it reads, "Toys, Fun Time." In front of the main mushroom stalk is a wooden rocking horse and a set of blocks.

Fun Time Toys is a great little toy store.

Geared toward the younger set it is a little unusual as this is an electronic free store. Designed for those kids whose parents and grandparents worry about too much screen time. Imagination runs the toys in here.

They carry toys that encourage “making up your own story”. Handmade kitchens for aspiring chefs. Hobby horses for the little ones who watch westerns with their grandpas. Duplo blocks abound, and of course Legos too. Tops and kites. Trains and easels for the young engineer and artists. Costumes that are made from thrift store treasures by the store owner. Little girls especially like the “fancy hats”.

She doesn’t forget little boys either: top hats, pirate hats, cowboy hats and detective hats are hanging up as well.

She often gets a smile when she looks over and a sweet little girl in a ballerina dress is wearing a pirate hat. Her brother is standing next to her admiring himself in the mirror with a pink tea party hat on.

They both look wonderful.
