Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day one hundred and two of that project.

This quilt block shows a large gate against a gray background. The gate is huge, with a brown presumably metal frame forming an arc over the swinging double doors. Overhead, as you would walk under, is a sign in yellow that has the word,

These are some pretty fancy park gates!

Make me think of the gates to Jurassic Park or Heaven.

I think they are only closed at night and have a light that shines on them. They could be to a special part of the park, like the rotunda.

Perhaps there is an extraordinary sculpture garden with fragile exotic flowers and fairies or a small zoo.

Imagination is a wonderful thing.
