Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day one hundred and twenty-nine of that project.

Right next door to my shop is a great little Mexican restaurant.

The people who run it are really nice, and the food is delicious. We often order tacos to go for lunch. They also make outstanding Margaritas.

My building and theirs are actually attached in one area. Our buildings are two of the original buildings in Granby.

One of the storage rooms at the Fabric Nook has a concrete floor. That is the spot where we are attached. A long time ago, it was the ice room for both establishments.

When I was little, my Dad took me to what is now AZTECA.

Back then, it was called Ricci’s Columbine Cafe. He liked to have coffee and visit with Ricci.

At that time, there was a lunch counter all along one side, and big game trophy mounts were on all the walls.

I’m delighted it is still a restaurant serving great food.
