Good Day, RaNae!
It was a wonderful surprise when RaNae Merrill, international author and quilter, called me from New York and said she was coming to Colorado to ski, and could she come and sew at my shop. She had just designed a paper piece heart pattern in honor of Valentine’s Day and was giving it away to all of the world! It was so much fun to have her in my shop. She demonstrated her paper piece pattern to over a dozen people and then went on to demonstrate her new toolkit and book Free Motion Mastery In A Month. This system really works!
Following RaNae Merrill’s month-long program in her book I think anyone could master free motion quilting. The quilts that she made using her free motion program are beautiful! And when you follow her program that she’s laid out in Free Motion Mastery In A Month, at the end of the month you will have quilted the blocks for a whole quilt! The other cool thing is the way that ReNae joins the quilted blocks together to finish the quilt. I have her book and toolkit in the shop and anyone interested in free motion quilting should check it out!
