Easter Runner Inspiration

Does anyone remember “Sugar Eggs?” When I was a girl they were popular. I remember one year when my mother and I made them. They were handmade out of sugar, food coloring, and egg whites I think, although there may have been other ingredients I don’t remember. They were made using a large egg mold that split longways. Small easter toys come in them sometimes. The Easter runner I created this year is a tribute to that special memory.

Good Day, RaNae!

It was a wonderful surprise when ReNae Merrill, international author and quilter, called me from New York and said she was coming to Colorado to ski, and could she come and sew at my shop. It was so much fun to have her in my shop. She demonstrated her paper piece pattern to over a dozen people and then went on to demonstrate her new toolkit and book Free Motion Mastery In A Month.
