I think it would be claustrophobic and I think I would get motion sick. I realize that if I’m actually in an ambulance those will be the least of my problems.
I had not ever been through a drive through car wash until I was at least 50 years old. My friend, Kathy, went through one on a trip to Denver together. It was a WOW moment for me.
The unique feature in this block is the flower sculptures. The blooms are huge! Beautiful enameled copper welded by a local artist.
I love poppies so this block made me smile a lot. It also reminded me of my Grandmother Evelyn. She had an amazing green thumb and it seemed everything she planted grew. She shared this gift with me and I’m forever grateful.
Notice the sweet little buttons that make up the flowers and night stars? I plan to use as many of these little buttons as I can in this quilt. I get them from Just Another Button Company. They have so many fun buttons, every color, and size, even handmade ones.
