Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day seventy-six of that project.

When I was in the 6th grade, we lived in Denver for a few years.

During that time, my mother’s favorite thing to do was to go to open houses. So at least twice a week, we loaded up and went to look at houses. She was fascinated by the way they staged the homes and the colors they used.

She was a small-town girl that had lived in a farmhouse carved out of an old service station.

The model homes were so modern, and the decorating was cutting edge. I think the experience enchanted her.

I’m glad she had the opportunity to do that. She’s been gone for 30 years, and I wish I could take her to an open house this weekend.

The trailer is the same tint of green that the SUV was, which is a darker green. On the side is a big logo written in black and white pen (white to highlight the outlines) that shows a horse head and neck and the text, "Crosby Horses • Breeding • Training www.crosbyhorses.com" There are two sets of wheels on the trailer, despite it's short length, which are black with green axles. There isalso a window on the upper front of the trailer which is a white fabricwith white pen lines showing the reflection.Block-A-Day 352 – The Horse Trailer
