Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan-Claire Mayfield. This is day two hundred and sixty-six of that project.

This quilt block shows a sign like you'd see on the side of the road. The sign is between two dark brown poles. The sign itself is a dark yellow with black pen writing on it. River Run RV resort is right on the edge of Granby.

It is on what was the Horn Ranch when I was growing up.

It’s a beautiful site, and they have done some interesting and amazing things there. In the next few days, we’ll check it out.

This development has changed our little town and will continue to do so. It will be interesting to see what happens in the next few years.

For now, here is their logo on their sign.

The roof and the door is made up of a duotone brown polka-dotted fabric. The building itself is an orange-tan color, with lighter tan square windows on either side of the door. The windows are outlined in a brown stitch, about the color of the roof. On the roof is a big sign that looked like a badge. It's a blue circle with a light yellow interior fabric. On the fabric written in blue pen is a logo showing trees, mountains, and a river, and the words, "General Store" along the outside circumference.Block-A-Day 275 – River Run’s General Store This quilt block shows a large just about square building. The main building material is a single large duotone polka dotted fabric (the dots being scattered and random). There are many smaller square windows outlined with an orange fabric, while inside they are a solid brown. They're each outlined by stitching. There is a light fixture above the middle door drawn in pen. The door is in the middle and is also outlined in an orange fabric. There are two signs, each detailed and colorful. On the left is a blue, black, and white sign with mountains on it and thew words, Block-A-Day 282 – New-2-U And Never Summer Brewing
