Today I continue my quest in creating and posting one block a day of the fabulous That Town And Country Quilt by the lovely Susan Claire. This is day forty-six of that project.

This quilt block shows a tall gray-blue building with a red triangular roof. There are two windows on the second floor and two tall windows on the first floor next to a set of arched double doors. On the building are the words,

Rose Colored Glass is a winery that has been in business for generations. This particular building is filled with huge storage casks in which wine is stored. The original Rose Colored Glass Tasting Room is in Stromsburg, Nebraska.

The owner specializes in locally grown wines. The idiom “rose-colored glasses” had been in use since the 1840s. Generally, it means looking at things in a positive way.

I have rose-tinted lenses in my sunglasses. I love them.

Everything looks so much better through them. Colors are more vivid, and the world just looks, well, happier.
