I recently bought a bird feeder for the Farmhands. It looks a little like the one on our block today. Farmhand 3 was particularly excited about it.

This quilt block shows a plant with a brown trunk and green leaves. The branches and singular leaves jut out in various directions. On one leaf on the left hanging down is a large ladybug with seven dark spots on its back. On the same leave are white dotted pen marks. There is outline stitching on all the pieces of fabric, and all of it is set against a blue background.

One day a neighbor came over with some very sorry looking kale and wanted to know what was wrong with it. FH1 looked at it and said, “You have aphids”. The neighbor looked to Asa and he nodded that indeed he had aphids.

This quilt block shows a patch of smooth grass along the bottom with a deep green fabric, and then trees that look like light green blocks coming up from it. There are three trees with very short orange-brown trunks ranging from short to pretty tall. This is all against a gray salmon or fish like background fabric. There is vertical white stitching in the trees.

This quilt block shows an orange slide, with the same polkoa-dotted splotchy orange fabric that was used in previous park blocks. The chassis for the slide is a dark orange, while the slide and handles are brighter orange. The slide is a depicted sideways, so it's whole structure lies flat as if viewing it from the side with the end of the slide on the left.

I liked slides when I was little if it wasn’t too tall. However, the pitfall was I always wore little dresses and I can tell you there are not too many things that feel hotter than a silver slide on bare legs! Boy only did that a couple of times.
