This quilt block shows a black square building with a large garage door shaped front. My friend Kris and her husband Dave are the owners of Grand County Automotive. They are the ones I trust my car to. They have been down at the end of town making cars and their people happy for a lot of years.

This quilt block shows a dark blue somewhat short compact car from a side view. It's facing left. The front angles down, and the back is a rectangle. The headlights, windshield, and window are yellow pieces of fabric. There are two tires that are black with off-white two-holed buttons in the center.

The first electric was a crude model made by an English inventor, Robert Anderson in 1832. Yep you read that right 1832! Then in 1870 a more practical model was developed for a wider market.
