Eggs for sale! This is a constant theme at the farm. Sisu farms produces brown shelled eggs which are generally larger than white shelled eggs.

This quilt block shows a very orange church building. The steeple of the church building is tall and has a triangular top. Next to it is the long roof of the sanctuary. Both roofs are very dark brown, along with the door. Along the side the of the steeple written in white pen are the word,s "Cathedral" and a bright orange patch of fabric indicating a window. To the right of the rounded door are more bright orange rectangular windows and above them the words "Performance Hall" penned in white. This is all against a blue salmon-patterned background.

The windows were broken and the roof leaked. An arts group that wanted a venue for the performing arts saw potential in this grand old building. They did lots of fundraising and then they managed to get a patron that had very deep pockets. After many hours of volunteer work and some paid structural work, it was ready to shine.

This quilt block shows a jagged piece of green fabric at the bottom to indicate grass. Above that strip of grass is a pretty detailed wheelbarrow constructed out of very dark brown fabric with a yellow stitching outline. The top rim and inside of the wheelbarrow is a gray fabric. Inside the wheelbarrow, which we are seeing from the side, is dirt, brown fabric marked with pen, and a flower pot. Inside the flower pot are pen lines going up into buttons. The flower bulbs are tiny two-hole buttons of various colors.

Occasionally, that included a kid that wanted a ride. Always amazed me how much I could move by just adding two handles and 1 wheel to my efforts.

This quilt block shows an outhouse against a blue salmon-patterned background. The outhouse is a dark brown with white stitching on it to indicate the door and slats. The roof is almost black and is a thin triangular shape. On the front of the door is a small two-holed yellow button for the door handle. At the top of the outhouse is a yellow crescent moon.

Mandy built it out of wood reclaimed from an old barn and the door came from an actual outhouse. It has electricity and a yellow light shines through the half moon. Inside the outhouse is fitted not with a one holer but with a frost free hydrant.

This quilt block shows a very dark brown tree with a big root base. There is no grass, but there are some dark green leaves on the branches of the tree, but not too many. On the right lower branch of the tree (there are 5) sits a brown owl. It has two large eyes, a triangular darker brown nose and little claws. The owl's details, including it's crown are made with a light colored stitching and a bit of yellow pen. All of this is against a moody blue salmon-patterned background.

They waited for her to return and Sarah said, “She will be back” and Percy said “She will bring us good things to eat.” Bill said “I want my Mommy.” My children often say they want their mommy even as grown men.

This quilt block show a very large building, much like an airport hangar. We're looking at the building from the front. It's very tall with a brown front, and a darker brown angled roof. Beneath the sharp apex of the roof is a light sign that has written on it in bold, "CARGO." Beneath the cargo signage are two large double garage doors (or one big door with stitching down the middle) that has three big red stripes across it horizontally. All of this is set against a blue slamon-patterned background.

Then there are urgent or special shipments that require a charter to move them. That is what is needed if you order a car delivered to you by air or an elephant.

This quilt block shows a dark brown and slightly reddish truck without a bed. The truck's can extends to the rear of the truck and it has two windows light orange windows besides the windshield. The headlight is also the same color. Behind the truck is a gray tow structure attached to something that's located off the quilt block to the right (the truck is facing left.) There are two dark circles indicating wheels underneath with small off-white two-holed buttons in the centers indicating the axle.

Andy is out in the driveway waxing his truck again, second time this week. He’s singing “On The Road Again” and his long suffering wife Deb is watching him from the kitchen window and rolling her eyes for the tenth time in as many minutes.
